Meet Emma Love, Founder & Psychotherapist.

Hi there, I’m Emma (she/her), a queer psychotherapist based in Fitzroy, VIC. I support adults & LGBTQ+ people navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, and trauma.

My work focuses on helping my clients learn to meet themselves with compassion, build strong self-care skills, and live as who they truly are. Throughout my nine years in practice, I have learned that simply trying to ‘fix’ symptoms is not in alignment with my values as a therapist or person. Instead, I am committed to supporting my clients in their journey toward deeper healing and transformation, blending traditional talk therapy with somatic (body-based) approaches.

I am dedicated to creating a non-judgemental, affirming space. I recognise that everyone enters therapy at different stages of life, and I'm here to meet you where you are. I use a trauma-informed lens which allows me to collaborate with you on decisions about approach, goals, pacing, and frequency of sessions. By building a foundation of safety in the body first, we can move into deeper emotional work and honest exploration as we progress. I believe that using an integrative approach is not only helpful but essential to treating you as the whole person you are.
