Welcome to Plum

Hi there — I’m so glad you’re here. Welcome to Plum, an affirming therapy practice devoted to supporting you as you navigate life’s uncertainties.

I chose the name Plum as a meaningful reminder: we are all capable of resilience. The plum tree blooms in winter, thriving under harsh conditions — a quiet signal that spring is near. It’s a powerful symbol of how we can adapt and grow, even in difficult seasons.

This imagery resonates deeply with me. In times of personal distress and uncertainty, it’s easy to forget that growth is often happening in the very moment we feel most overwhelmed. The hard stuff can feel all-consuming. But slowly, I’ve come to build a new relationship with discomfort — one anchored in a message I return to often: This discomfort I feel is a sign of growth, and life won’t always feel this way.

It’s a practice I feel honored to extend to my clients. And it’s why I offer the image of the plum tree to you — as a gentle reminder of your own capacity for resilience.

If you’re reading this, you might be thinking about starting your own inner work. I want to encourage you: doing that work with someone can be transformative. Therapy offers a space for a grounded, healing connection — one where the therapist holds space for all parts of you, just as you are.

If you’d like to learn more about how I work, the modalities I use, or what working together might look like, please explore the About and Sessions pages. I’d love to connect and support you in navigating your unique path.
