  • Plum accepts all major credit cards and HSA/FSA cards. A credit card is required on file to book sessions, and payment is due in full at the time of the appointment. We use Stripe to ensure all payment information is kept secure and private.

  • Plum is an out-of-network provider. In some cases, you may be able to file a claim with your insurance for reimbursement. Contact the number on the back of your insurance card under Member Services to inquire about your out-of-network coverage.

  • Plum requires 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will result in a full session fee charge. Refunds are at Plum’s discretion and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you have any concerns or disputes, please contact Plum to discuss them.

  • No, as a licensed therapist in Washington, DC, Emma can only see clients who are currently located in DC.

  • Plum offers a free 15-minute consultation to ensure a good fit. After this, the "goodness of fit" will continue to be an ongoing conversation throughout the therapy process.
